Financial Decision Making for Dental Clinics
Read the numbers that drive your dental practice's health.
Designed exclusively for dentists who own or manage dental clinics and want to "read", "control", "build confidence in" the financial side of their practice. Every concept is taught through real dental-practice scenarios — chair time, lab costs, case acceptance, recall revenue — not generic corporate finance theory, so you leave with frameworks you can apply the same week. Taught by Dr. Karim Elfaham, Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance at AASTMT and Co-Founder & Lead Financial Consultant at Big Move Consultancy, with a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wales, UK and 18+ years of teaching and consulting experience.

The Opportunity
Most dentists can't read their own P&L
Financial statements shouldn't feel like a foreign language. This course gives you the confidence to read income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports — and finally understand where your practice's money actually goes.
Chair time is money — most clinics don't measure it
Knowing your real cost per chair-hour, per procedure, and per case is the difference between a practice that looks busy and one that's actually profitable.
Pricing is guesswork without financial grounding
From evaluating new equipment to hiring an associate or opening a second chair, you'll leave with simple ROI frameworks for the investment decisions that shape your practice's future.

Dr. Karim Elfaham
Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance, AASTMT | Co-Founder & Lead Financial Consultant, Big Move Consultancy Dr. Karim Elfaham has spent 18 years teaching finance and accounting at university level and advising business owners on the decisions that determine whether a practice grows or stalls. He holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wales, UK, and supervises master's and doctoral research in finance. Through Big Move Consultancy he leads feasibility studies, business valuations, and financial transformation engagements for owner-managed businesses across healthcare, manufacturing, agribusiness, and professional services — the same class of decisions clinic owners face: what a service really costs, whether an investment pays back, and what the business is worth to a partner or buyer. He built this programme on one principle: clinic owners don't need accounting theory, they need the three or four numbers that drive their practice and the confidence to act on them.
